The Dholera International Cargo-cum-Passenger Airport is an aspiring project interacting with the evolving Dholera SIR. The Dholera International is spread over 1426 hectares with has 2 runways (one with 3.2km and another one is 4km long). This multi-purpose connectivity landmark is set to reshape the regional aviation map and put Dholera International Airport on the world aviation map by controlling the cargo and passenger traffic. It will contribute to the development of exports, tourism, and the economy in general. 
The infrastructure of Dholera International Airport Gujarat has a dual function. It gives equal importance to capabilities in managing cargo and passengers. The government of India has sanctioned 3500 meters of land to build the highly required infrastructure project to build better connectivity. This means that practices in the transportation of cargo and passengers can have greater uniformity.  
The Dholera International Airport has well-equipped cargo facilities and updated passenger facilities for better service delivery. The airport will complete its first phase in December 2024-25 and will be maintained and operated by the DIACL organization. The Dholera International Airport Gujarat boasts sophisticated systems that facilitate different types of cargo and offer optimum services to passengers. 
The Dholera Sir International Airport was first examined by the Airport Authority of India (AAI) and permitted to build this dream project. It facilitates advanced security systems and numerous amenities that distinguish the airport as one of the most comfortable and convenient facilities for passengers. 
Currently, Dholera SIR Airport is under the construction mode and will be ready in 2025 and open for the public usage in 2026 while adhering to the guidelines of the Government of India. As an estimated, it will serve lacs of people in a year. 
The region is anticipated to derive greater benefits from Dholera International Airport through increased trade, investment, and attracting the brains of the world.
