CM Invites Over 1,500 Industrialists, Investors
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel invited more than 1,500 industrialists and investors during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2024 curtain-raiser, highlighting Gujarat’s investor-friendly policies and transformative projects like GIFT City and Dholera SIR.
During the VGGS 2024 pre-event in New Delhi, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel emphasized Gujarat’s role in promoting new industries, advancing technology, and creating employment opportunities. He highlighted the state’s proactive policies, robust industrial infrastructure, and investor-friendly environment as key reasons Gujarat remains a preferred destination for investment.
Gateway to the Future :
Themed “Gateway to the Future,” the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) to be held in January 2024 aims to showcase Gujarat’s contributions to India’s development. CM Patel highlighted landmark projects such as GIFT City, Dholera SIR, DREAM City, Greenfield Ports, and the Ahmedabad-Mumbai High-Speed Rail (Bullet Train) project, which are driving emerging sectors including fintech, aircraft leasing, industrial manufacturing, and smart city development.
Industry Leaders Share Insights :
The event featured insights from Rajesh Kumar Singh, Secretary of DPIIT, Government of India, and S J Haider, Additional Chief Secretary of the Industries Department, Gujarat. Prominent business leaders, including B K Goenka, President of ASSOCHAM and Chairman of Welspun Group, praised Gujarat’s business acumen and investment-friendly policies, affirming that Gujarat and business are synonymous.
Railway Collaboration :
On the sidelines of the Delhi roadshow, CM Bhupendra Patel met Railway Board Chairperson Jaya Sinha to review the progress of various railway projects in Gujarat. These discussions underline the state’s focus on connectivity and infrastructure, further strengthening the investment climate for domestic and global industrialists.
