The Gujarat government has allocated funds in the 2024-25 State Budget to support the development of the Dholera International Airport and other aviation infrastructure projects, marking a major step in strengthening the state’s connectivity and industrial growth.
The proposed Dholera International Airport has once again featured in the State Budget for the financial year 2024-25. The Gujarat government has provisioned Rs. 122.26 crore for share capital contribution to the airport company, ensuring continued progress in its development.
In addition to the capital allocation, the budget includes Rs. 15.50 crore for water supply support under state funding, specifically for the Dholera Greenfield Airport Project. This highlights the government’s commitment to providing essential infrastructure for the airport.
The budget also outlines a Rs. 25 crore provision for developing airports at other strategic locations across the state, including Dholavira, Dhordo, Siddhpur, Vadnagar, Ankleshvar (Phase-2), and Kevadiya, further enhancing Gujarat’s aviation and industrial connectivity.
