Apart from the 100 acres of land, the Gujarat government has promised to give 63 acres of land parcel to Tata Electronics for expansion in Dholera, as per the requirement.
A Business Standard report said on Wednesday that Tata Group is seeking an additional 80 acres of land for the expansion of its mega semiconductor chip plant in Gujarat’s Dholera. Previously, the Gujarat government had allocated a 20-acre parcel to the Tata Group.
The current demand will continue, the BS report added. Tata Electronics will use the additional land for building housing facilities for nearly 4,000 employees, the report added. These housing facilities will include studio apartments, shopping complex, sports arena and other amenities will also be added, the BS report said citing sources.
