Dholera International Airport Company Limited (DIACL) has issued a tender inviting bids for the construction of a state-of-the-art terminal building at the upcoming Dholera International Airport . The airport is being developed within the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) , which is emerging as one of India’s most advanced smart industrial cities.
As part of the first phase of development, DIACL has invited bids for the installation of critical radar infrastructure, including Air Surveillance Radar (ASR), Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR), antenna tower systems, and related supporting facilities. The project is estimated to cost approximately ₹19 crore (excluding GST).
According to project timelines, bid submissions were scheduled to close on September 24, with technical bid evaluations planned for September 30 and financial bids expected to open on October 10. DIACL has set an estimated completion period of six months for this phase, which also includes the development of approach roads and essential infrastructure required for future airport expansion.
Earlier, DIACL had already issued a major work order worth approximately ₹3,300 crore for the construction of an integrated passenger terminal, Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower, cargo complex, and additional airport facilities. The airport is expected to become operational by 2025–26, significantly improving global connectivity for industries and investors in the Dholera region.
